So you should check the 3D Zone website and download the 35 page White paper to get some interesting and useful information, and if you still haven’ tried the 2D DVD Video to Stereo 3D functionality called TrueTheater 3D you can download the 30 day trial version of PowerDVD 10 Ultra 3D. ![]() But back to the news, the 3D Zone mini-website is an interesting initiative where you can find explanations about 3D technology – what is it, how it works, different solutions for 3D playback, more about Blu-ray 3D, some ideas to build a 3D home theater system, information on how to use the TrueTheater 3D function (2D t 3D conversion) in PowerDVD 10 and a downloadable 3D Video and Blu-ray 3D White Paper (requires you to fill a form to get a download link). Actually PowerDVD 10 Ultra 3D is already available and there is also a trial version available for download, but it only contains an option to convert 2D DVD Video to stereo 3D and the actual support for Blu-ray 3D movies should come sometime this summer, so quite soon. It seems that Cyberlink is in the final preparations to get out their new Power DVD 10 Ultra 3D software that will have support for Blu-ray 3D Playback on Nvidia’s 3D Vision and other stereoscopic 3D setups.
